Grad Fair

Regalia, photos, rings, and more fun Commencement stuff!

Congratulations on reaching this moment in your academic journey! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and our attention to the health and safety of our campus community, Grad Fair was presented in an online format with limited in-person services. Please see below for a list of Grad Fair services and resources. We highly encourage all graduates to use this list as your checklist on the road to commencement. We will continue to provide additional details about these opportunities as more information becomes available.

Regalia Pick-Up with Oak Hall & Photos with Candid Campus

The 2021 Grad Fair took place on March 22 & 23.

If you were unable to attend the in-person Grad Fair, you have 2 options for obtaining your regalia (cap and gown). The cost of your regalia is already covered in the grad fee.

  • Bookstore Pickup - Beginning Wednesday, March 31, you can get your regalia on-site in the Loyola Bookstore (first floor of the Danna Student Center). Hours are Monday-Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. No additional cost.
  • Order Online: You can order your regalia online here. Please note that there will be an $11 shipping fee. Online ordering will end on April 16.

Additional Photo Days - Missed your photo opportunity in March? Candid Campus Photography will be back on campus on April 19 & 20 from 10 a.m. -6 p.m. in the St. Charles Room. Pictures will be done by appointment only. Click here to book your appointment.

Official Ring & Announcements with Balfour

The Loyola Ring is an enduring symbol that incorporates our great traditions with your unique educational experience. It honors academic achievement and sacrifice while signifying the loyalty and pride we all share as Loyola alumni. You can order a ring and announcements online here.

Career Development Center

The Career Development Center can provide career coaching, answer job search-related questions, and share information about how they can help you finalize your post-graduate plans. Schedule an appointment in Handshake or stop by their virtual drop-in hours via Zoom.

Student Financial Services

Student Financial Services will review your student account for financial holds, balances owed to the University and/or balances owed to you.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

If you are a recipient of Federal Student Loan funds, you will need to complete a loan “Exit Counseling” https://studentaid.gov/exit-counseling/ to ensure that you understand your rights and responsibilities as a federal loan recipient. Diploma and commencement program confirmation

Please proof all information on this spreadsheet and report and any name changes, errors, or concerns to Kathy Gros, Director of Student Records - kgros@loyno.edu. The deadline to submit any changes is April 7, 2021.

Note regarding distinctions: Latin distinctions are only granted to undergraduate students. This distinction is based upon your GPA at the end of the Fall 2020 semester. It is possible for the distinction to change once final grades from your final semester are posted.

3.500 - 3.699 = Cum Laude
3.700 - 3.899 = Magna Cum Laude
3.900 - 4.000 = Summa Cum Laude
