Commencement 2026
Ceremonies for all colleges will take place on Saturday, May 9 at the Smoothie King Center, located at 1501 Dave Dixon Drive in New Orleans.
Undergraduate and Graduate Degrees Ceremony

College of Law Ceremony
5 p.m. Central Time
Order your regalia online by February 8 for pick up at Grad Fair on March 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and March 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for undergraduate and graduate degree candidates. The College of Law Grad Fair will be held on March 18 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in LS 342-344. The deadline for regalia ordering for home delivery (shipping fee applies) is April 12. Please note, order that are placed on April 12 will arrive very close to Commencement.
Graduation Application
In order to participate in commencement, candidates for graduation must apply. If you have not already completed a Graduation Application, please do so immediately. To apply for graduation, please go to your LORA Self-Service app in Single Sign On, find the "Graduation Application" tab, and submit your application for the Semester/Term that you will be "graduating" (finishing all of your requirements).
